    Description

    Offered is an overall excellent condition circa 1936 early German military Wichmann maker marked map case with maker mark and what appears to be an early WaA217 waffenampt acceptance proof. The leather is very pliable with much life, very usable, and surface scuffing consistent with age. All snaps are in place and function fine. The only damage is a piece of the cellulose is loose but present. Also, the cellulose map screen is split in two other areas. The leather carrying strap was also shortened long ago.
