This is a WW2-era German soft shell holster. It is stamped on the side, "P38", "cey 4", and a waffenamt mark (not fully stamped) with the numbers "1920". It is marked on the inside part of the top flap, "603".
It measures about 6-1/8 inches across at the top, and about 9 inches from top to bottom.
The holster is in used condition - it has scratches/scrapes, scuffs, and indentations. The leather is still flexible, though it may need further proper cleaning to preserve.
