German Soldier Brass Sculpture Pre WW 11

Description

You are bidding on a very unique military figure from pre WW2 based on his uniform.  The solid brass figure is of a German infantryman in full battle gear.  He stands 19" with base.  The wooden base is 7x 7 x 4 and does show some wear.  I see no damage to the figure.  This pieces weights approximately forty pounds.  I have never seen one like this before even after ten years of owning the piece.  I can find not artist or foundry designation.
