(Sp) B Solakowitsch 1943 Trier.  It has the word Kopie before the artist's name so I do not know if the original survived the war!  It is a beautiful piece still in great condition painted on a Stretcher or Cot material (canvas was scarce).  Trier is one of the oldest cities in Germany and has Roman originations.  It was bombed by the allies in WWII.  Approximately 3 X 4 feet
