    Mauser 98  K98 Standard Model Stock Set Maybe Chinese ?

    Just not sure about this one. I think it is a stock either imported by, or,made in China based on the stamping in the stock. It is a solid stock with no issues. Just  the normal scuffs, nicks and dings from seeing service. The hand guard is 98k type that goes from the front of the rear sight to the lower band. The hardware included is the nose cap with bayonet lug, front band, lower band with sling swivel (worn), band spring, hand guard, recoil lug,  and flat type butt plate. Also the detachable lower sling swivel. Metal is in very good condition with minor corrosion on the butt plate. Center to center between action screw holes is just over 7.75''.  Stock and hardware are not parts matching.
