    Description

    Nice item for a Collection--Vintage
    WWII WKG GERMAN NCO PARADE BAYONET, 14 1/2" WITH HALLMARK & ORIGINAL SCABBARD.
    The Piece is in VINTAGE CONDTION, Overall GOOD CONDITION.  The Bayonet & Scabbard are original with the Bayonet Blade being stamped WKG with the HALLMARK, an Armored Knight's Helmet; Piece manufactured in Solingen.  Tip of Blade looks to have some surface wear, tip is NOT broken.  The Bayonet is 14 1/2" with the Blade being 9 1/2"x1" with a good, pointed tip.  Original Black Bakelite Grips; there is a piece of Red Material in the slide at the end of the Bayonet; person's name & date of purchase etched into the top edge of the Blade; original Brown Leather piece at the end of the handle to protect the Bayonet when it goes into the Scabbard.  Scabbard is original with original color, Black.  There is wear to the Scabbard, mainly surface scratching with light areas of paint wear & light areas of beginning rust.  Piece has not been cleaned or the Blade sharpened at least since we've had it--which has been decades. Please take a look at the photos to get a good look at this item.
