    Description

Predecessor of German S.F. 14Z, these trench binoculars were manufactured as an export model for Finnish army in 1919 by Goerz in Bratislava. Serial number is 11211. The optics are really good condition and this has been refurbished for military use in early 1950'
s by professional optics crew in army ordnance depot. Kit also includes the original Goerz-manufactured azimuth aiming circle, late pattern wood screw that you can use to drive into a side of the trench (so you dont need the additional tripod), original lens hoods and red filter caps for the scope (these have some oxidation on metal, but easily cleaned). The set is packed to pre-WW2-era leather carrying case with original markings.
To be noticed, the case itself has additional SkY brass emblem on it, which also makes it much more scarce. It means that it was used by "Suojeluskuntain Yleisesikunta" (Finnish White Guard general staff), which was an organization between wars and was basically a starting point of Finnish Army after Finnish civil war in 1918.
