VCG German Army E-Tool Entrenching Tool 1959 Original

Selling for a friend.
I'm told this is an original 1959 German entrenching tool (e-tool). Very Good Condition (VCG) with no rust. Wood handle with markings. Not sure of those markings indicate an Army unit, or were an individual soldier marking. Tool works great and is heavy duty construction. Unit is adjustable and features both a shovel & pick in 1 tool. Able to adjust into several different positions. Unit would make a great camp tool, emergency tool for the car/truck or display item.
