    Description

You are bidding on a FANTASTIC and VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Kriegsmarine 1:100 Construction Blueprint!  Covering the Bismarck's Main Bridge Deck, this is a HAND-DRAWN period tracing from the original.
Bismarck was the first of two Bismarck-class battleships built for Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine. Named after Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, the ship was laid down at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg in July 1936 and launched in February 1939. Work was completed in August 1940, when she was commissioned into the German fleet. Bismarck and her sister ship Tirpitz were the largest battleships ever built by Germany, and two of the largest built by any European power.
Made of a very lightweight drafting paper, this is a SUPERB representation of one of the most iconic classes of warships of World War 2.  Hand-drawn in 1:100-scale, it depicts
the superstructure components with top-down views of the superstructure, bridge deck, funnel, masts, chart house and more, each clearly labeled in German.
A period tracing from the original builder's plan, it is drawn in black ink, and bears the title,
    "Schlachtschiff Tirpitz - Bismarck".
The drawing is unsigned and undated, but GUARANTEED as being an original  period item (probably a working design drawing).  Some slight wear, marks, and fold to the age, but nothing that detracts.  A MASSIVE 24" x 97" size, it would make a
VERY RARE addition to any collection, or display!
